The HD-Q7 is a 4-in-1 HD CCTV camera that supports the following video surveillance formats: AHD, HD-TVI, HDCVI, and analog CVBS. The AHD, HD-TVI, and HDCVI modes are 1080p resolution (1920 x 1080). The analog CCTV mode (CVBS) supports 960H resolution (960 x 480). Installers can easily select the video mode using the small joystick that is attached to the camera's video cable. The 3.6mm lens captures a 90 degree field of view . Check out these sample surveillance photos and video demo.

The HD-Q7 is enclosed in a white IP66 weatherproof housing which make it a great choice for indoor and outdoor installations. The 36 infrared LEDs that are built-in allow the camera to capture video in normal, low light and zero light conditions. The tri-axis mounting bracket allows installers to ceiling or wall mount the camera and adjust the angle of view in any direction.

This camera is typically connected to a surveillance DVR by hard wiring it using the same RG-59 or RG6 coaxial cable that is used for analog CCTV cameras. Sample Surveillance Photos

The above image was captured using the HD-Q7 running in HD-TVI mode. The camera was mounted in a medium sized room at CCTV Camera Pros office in West Palm Beach, Florida. This room is 29 feet wide by 16 feet deep. All of the lights are on in the room so that the camera is operating in daytime / color mode.

Infrared Surveillance

Here is an infrared surveillance image captured by the HD-Q7. We switched the camera to AHD mode for this image. The iDVR-PRO supports AHD and HD-TVI cameras, so this was a good opportunity to test both video modes. They both look equally great. All of the lights are off. There is no light in this room.

iPhone App View

In our testing, we connected our HD-Q7 to an iDVR-PRO HD surveillance DVR so that we could run the camera at 1080p resolution. In addition to providing a recording platform, the iDVR-PRO DVRs lets user login from remotely over the Internet to view the camera live. The below image was captured using the iDVR-PRO Viewer app for iPhone.

Here is another view from the iPhone app, but this time the lights are off in the room and the camera's infrared night vision is engaged.

Android Mobile App Viewing

These images were captured while using the iDVR-PRO Viewer mobile app for Android. The camera is still connected to the iDVR-PRO16M at our office and we are accessing the DVR using our local WIFI network. This works the same as viewing the camera from remotely over the Internet using LTE, 4G, 3G, etc.

Video Mode Selector

Installers can easily select the video mode using the small joystick that is attached to the camera's video cable. Simply hold the joystick in any direction for 5 seconds to switch to that video mode.
