Live Camera View from iPhone App
The iDVR-PRO is Mac compatible. Users can view security cameras live directly from a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) or Macintosh users can install the DVR viewer software on their computers. The web browser access provides excellent live remote viewing. The Mac application supports viewing multiple DVRs / locations and remote search and playback of recorded video.
Mac Web Browser View
The iDVR-PRO web browser viewer is compatible with MAC laptops and desktops. From the web browser interface user can view their CCTV cameras live, manage the DVR's configuration, and control PTZ cameras. This is one of the few CCTV DVRs available that allow users to view surveillance cameras remotely over the Internet from a Macintosh via a web browser. In addition to the web browser access, iDVR PRO DVRs also include a Mac DVR viewer software application. The Mac software allows users to view up to 36 cameras on one screen and in addition to live remote viewing, the Macintosh application also supports recorded video search and playback. Users can create groups of DVRs so that cameras from more than one location can be monitored on a single screen.

The new DVR viewer app for Android supports live remote viewing and recorded video search and playback. The app can be used to access the iDVR-PRO on WIFI / 3G / 4G / LTE internet connections. The Android app works with phone and tablet Android devices. Users can view the CCTV cameras that are connected to an iDVR-PRO DVR in single, four, eight, nine, and sixteen camera grid views.

HD Video Resolution
The latest iDVR-PRO CMS software version supports 720p and 1080p video resolution for AHD and HD-TVI cameras. When users view these types of HD security cameras in single camera view, the CMS software automatically adjusts the viewing resolution to the maximum that the camera supports.

iPhone CCTV Camera View
The iDVR-PRO DVR allows you to view your CCTV cameras live from your iPhone through the Safari web browser. Logging into your DVR from your iPhone is simple: 1) Launch the Safari web browser from your iPhone. 2) Enter the IP address and port # of your DVR. 3) Select the camera that you want to view. Most cable and DSL Internet connections use a dynamic IP address. This can present a challenge for remotely accessing your DVR to check on your cameras. All iDVR-PRO surveillance DVRs have built in dynamic DNS support. This means that your DVR will be assigned a host name such as mydvr.ddns.com for you to use for remote access. So, if your ISP changes your IP address, the configuration for your desktop and mobile apps do not need to change because your assigned hostname will always be updated to point to the correct IP address of your Internet gateway.
