The HD-Q3 dome is a 4-in-1 HD infrared surveillance camera that supports the following video formats: AHD, HD-TVI, HDCVI, and analog CCTV (CVBS). The AHD, HD-TVI, and HDCVI video modes support 2 megapixel / 1080p resolution (1920 x 1080). The analog CCTV mode supports 960H resolution (960 x 480). Installers can easily select the video mode using the small joystick that is attached to the camera's video cable. The 3.6mm lens captures a 90 degree field of view . The HD-Q7 is a white dome camera that is enclosed in an IP66 weatherproof housing. This camera can be installed for indoor and outdoor video surveillance. The 24 infrared LEDs that are built-in allow the camera to capture video in normal, low light and zero light conditions. The IR distance is rated up to 15 meters / 50 feet. The eye-ball dome style of this camera allows installers to ceiling or wall mount the camera and adjust the angle of view in any direction.

This camera is typically connected to a surveillance DVR by hard wiring it using the same RG59 Siamese coaxial cable that is used for analog CCTV cameras. If you do not need to record video and would like to connect this camera directly to an HDMI TV / Monitor for live view only, please refer to the HDCV-3-T HD-TVI to HDMI converter. The HDMI converter is available as an add-on product for this camera.

Sample Surveillance Photos

The above image was captured using the HD-Q3 running in 1080p HD-TVI mode. The camera was mounted in a medium sized room at CCTV Camera Pros office in West Palm Beach, Florida. This room is 29 feet wide by 16 feet deep. All of the lights are on in the room so that the camera is operating in daytime / color mode.

Infrared Surveillance

Here is an infrared surveillance image captured by the HD-Q3 recording to an iDVR-PRO. All of the lights are off. There is no light in this room.

iPhone App View

In our testing, we connected our HD-Q3 to an iDVR-PRO HD surveillance DVR. In addition to providing a recording platform, the iDVR-PRO DVRs lets user login from remotely over the Internet to view the camera live. The below image was captured using the iDVR-PRO Viewer app for iPhone.

Here is another view from the iPhone app, but this time the lights are off in the room and the camera's infrared night vision is engaged.

Android Mobile App Viewing

These images were captured while using the iDVR-PRO Viewer mobile app for Android. The camera is still connected to the iDVR-PRO16M at our office and we are accessing the DVR using our local WIFI network. This works the same as viewing the camera from remotely over the Internet using LTE, 4G, 3G, etc.

Video Mode Selector

Installers can easily select the video mode using the small joystick that is attached to the camera's video cable. Simply hold the joystick in any direction for 5 seconds to switch to that video mode.
