This outdoor IR camera has 36 infrared LED capable of seeing up to 100 feet in the dark. This IR camera is the same body style and high quality Sony CCD as the BIPRO-540L4 IR security camera except that it has a 6mm lens which provides a more zoomed in field of view. The Sony Super HAD CCD supports 1000 TV lines of high resolution / 960H CCTV. This camera is weatherproof and can be used for indoor or outdoor infrared surveillance without adding an additional housing. The camera is also equipped with a sun shield to help protect the lens and sensor from direct sunlight damage. The 6mm lens provides an 11.5 foot wide field of view at 15 feet away. This camera and mounting bracket are silver. The mount of this security camera completely concealed the power and video cable.

Tri-Axis Mounting Bracket

This camera has a tri-axis mount which gives you the flexibility to install the camera at just about any angle. The video and power cable is completely concealed inside the bracket fort a secure installation.

Simple to setup & great picture	August 7, 2013

I found the BIPRO-540L6 to be a very simple camera to setup. Just plug and play. No fancy OSD settings or other bells and whistles, but it does not need it because the picture quality is great. Highly recommended for outdoor applications for close to medium distance surveillance.
