The Zavio F4215 is a Wireless HD IP Camera with built-in audio surveillance microphone. This HD security camera is capable of recording high definition (1920 x 1080) 1080p video at a full 30 frames per second. The Zavio F4215 features a 1/2.8" CMOS image sensor along with a fixed 3.6mm lens.
This camera can be connected to a network via Cat-5E cable, or using the Wireless 802.11b/g/n protocol. Unlike other wireless cameras, this model can be powered by either, 12V-DC, or POE 802.3af.
The built-in infrared LED's have an effective range of 10 meters / 30 feet which produce a detailed image in low light and zero light environments. With the PIR Sensor, the Zavio F4215 can be set to trigger recording when motion is detected by a moving person In addition to the built-in motion detection via the PIR sensor, the F4215 also has one digital input and one digital output port. This allows installers to connect external alarm sensors to trigger events such as video recording and push notification alerts to the mobile app for iPhone and Android.
The Mechanical IR Cut Filter blocks out any unusable infrared lighting and only allows visible light to pass through. This allows the camera to remove the distortion normally caused by infrared and creates a much clearer image.
The Corridor Mode allows the camera to have a wider vertical angle, rather than a wider horizontal angle, like traditional cameras. Corridor mode is ideal for securing a hallway or a long, narrow passageway. The Region of Interest feature allows the user to map out a part of the camera's image, and only that section of the image is in high resolution. The rest of the image's resolution is toned down to conserve bandwidth and storage space.
The WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) Enhancement feature combines the darkest part of the image with the brightest part, to create an image comparable to that of the human eye. This is especially useful in environments with ultra bright, or dark back light.
Two way audio is supported by the built-in microphone and speaker. A Micro SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot (32GB Max) can be used to record video clips and snapshots locally on the camera.
Like all Zavio IP Cameras, the F4215 includes 64 channel recording software to give the user the features of a network video recorder.

NVR Software / IP Camera Recording Software Included!
All Zavio IP cameras include NVR / IP camera recording software that supports up to 64 cameras for live viewing, recording, and playback. Some of the features included in the software are: 64 camera remote channel live view, 16 channel playback simultaneously, motion detection & scheduled recording, supports H.264/ MPEG-4/ MJPEG compression formats, multiple user access levels with password protection, iPhone, iPad, and Android mobile apps, and powerful recording search functions. This NVR software runs on Windows PCs.

Remote Live Viewer App
The Zavio software also includes the Remote Live Viewer app for Windows. This software connects to Zavio stand-alone NVRs and PC-based NVRs (built with the free Zavio software). It enables live remote viewing of all IP cameras connected to your NVR(s). The software also includes the Remote Playback app which lets users search and playback surveillance video that has been recorded to the NVR's hard drive. Mac Compatible IP Camera
Zavio IP cameras support live remote viewing over the Internet from a Mac computer. Macintosh users can directly access Zavio IP cameras using Safari, Chrome, and Firefox web browsers. For users that setup the Zavio NVR software on a Windows PC or use a stand-alone Zavio network video recorder, Mac users can also remotely access these NVRs to view all of the IP cameras, playback recorded video, and configure their NVR from Macintosh. PoE for IP Camera
