The Vivotek IP9171-HP is a fixed box IP camera featuring a recording resolution of
2048 x 1536 at 30 frames per second. The Vivotek IP9171-HP also features a 2.8 ~ 12mm varifocal lens, providing a 51° ~ 114° horizontal angle of view, and a 1/2.8" progressive scan CMOS images sensor to provide superior image quality.
The
WDR Pro feature allows the camera to capture a high resolution image in environments with challenging lighting conditions, such as very bright or dark back lighting. It works by combining the darkest part of the image with the brightest part to create one highly detailed and balanced image. The H.265 video compression used on this camera model is far more efficient than H.264. When combined with the Smart Stream II technology, the H.265 compression uses up to 80% less storage space and bandwidth than H.264.
This camera features a low light rating of 0.01 lux in color mode and 0.001 lux in black & white mode. A
Removable IR Cut Filter allows for the use of an external infrared illuminator by blocking any unusable lighting and only allowing the visible light to pass through.
Users can record video clips and snapshots locally using the
Micro SD / SDHC / SDXC Card Slot. The IP9171-HP can be powered by 12V-DC, 24V-AC or POE 802.3af, allowing for both data and power to be run over one Cat-5E cable. Like all Vivotek cameras, the IP9171-HP includes a 32 channel central management software.

PoE for IP Camera
