Description

The Vivotek FD8152V is a mini vandal proof IP camera capable of recording in 1280 x 1024 video resolution at a full 30 frames per second and features a 1.3 megapixel CMOS image sensor. The Vivotek FD8152V mini vandal proof IP camera features an ultra compact housing design of 100mm (3.95") in diameter.

Although the housing may be small and compact, it features an IK10 vandal resistance rating, which protects the vital components of the camera from acts of vandalism and tampering. It comes standard with a 2.8mm fixed lens that captures a wide 101° horizontal angle of view.

This camera has 9 built-in IR illuminators with an effective range of up to 15 meters (45 feet), perfect for maintaining visibility in low or no light environments. Without the use of the infrared LEDs, the FD8152V has a color lux rating of 0.08 and a black & white lux rating of 0.06.

Enhancing the image quality is the Removable IR Cut Filter, which creates a better image by blocking the unnecessary infrared lighting and only allowing the visible light to pass through. The user is able to record audio in addition to video by using the built-in microphone, further enhancing the level of security.

In the event that the network goes down the FD8152V can record locally using the Micro SD / SDHC / SDXC card slot. This camera is powered by POE 802.3af, enabling the user to run both data and power over one Cat-5e cable. It can be remotely viewed using PC web browser or 3GPP mobile device. The Vivotek-FD8152V includes a 32 channel central management software for monitoring and recording.
