Description

This RG59 Siamese cable, connector, and tool kit is designed to provide installers with everything they need for a coax video installation. This CCTV camera cable kit includes a 1000 foot spool or RG-59 Siamese cable, 20 BNC crimp-on connectors, 1 TL-70 coax crimping tool, and a TL-22 coax cable stripper tool. BNC crimp on connectors provide a secure and convenient way to attach BNC connectors to coax cable.

RG59 Siamese cable is a heavily shielded cable which contains a COAX video and pair of 18 gauge 2 conductor power in one jacket. This allows security installers to run both video and power (5V DC / 12V DC / 24VAC) to CCTV security cameras using a single cable. RG59 Siamese is the industry standard cable for CCTV installations.

The advantages to using RG59 cable is that its more durable and can be run in long distances without interference. You can also cut each security camera run the exact length that you need. You will need to attach BNC connectors to each end of the RG59 coax part of the cable for the CCTV video transmission.
