The Geovision GV-EFD3101 low lux network dome camera is entry level model with all of the features of the more advanced models. The Geovision GV-EFD3101 includes a
3 ~ 9mm Varifocal Lens and a 1/2.8" CMOS image sensor, providing a recording resolution of 2048 x 1536 (3 Megapixel) at up to 30 frames per second.
This camera has exceptional low light capabilities with a
color and black & white lux rating of 0.01. For environments with little or no light, the GV-EFD3101 features Infrared LEDs with an effective range of 50 meters / 150 feet, allowing the camera to continue recording. A Removable IR Cut Filter further enhances the image quality by blocking the unusable infrared lighting and only allowing the visible light to pass through.
The GV-EFD3101 includes
WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) Pro Enhancement, which enhances the image quality in environments with challenging lighting conditions (Such as ultra bright or dark back lighting). It works by combing the darkest part of the image with the brightest part to create one highly detailed image.
This camera can be powered by either the included
12V-DC power adapter or by POE (Power over Ethernet) 802.3af. The POE feature allows the installer to run both data and power over one CAT5-E cable, however this will require a POE compliant network switch or injector. The 3 axis mounting mechanism allows the user to mount to either a wall or ceiling with ease.
The GV-EFD3101 includes a 32 channel central management software with a multitude of features and is remotely viewable from PC's,
iPhone, iPad, Android and 3GPP mobile devices. This fixed IR dome camera is ideal for indoor applications that need an affordable megapixel solution.

Remote Viewing Support
Geovision includes many options to view your cameras remotely over a local network and also remotely over the Internet. Remote viewing is supported by both Windows and Mac based PCs.
Geovision also includes support to view cameras from cell phones and other mobile devices including: iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Symbian, and other 3G / 3GPP cell phones. Geovision provides free apps for all of these types of devices.

PoE for IP Camera
This IP camera is PoE (power over Ethernet) compliant which allows the installer to run a single CAT-5e cable to provide both power and data connectivity to the camera. CCTV Camera Pros supplies the following PoE injectors and PoE network switches which are compatible with this camera.
