The DPRO-92311 indoor dome security camera uses a Sony CCD image sensor that supports 650TV lines of resolution in color (day surveillance) and black and white (low light / night surveillance mode). This dome camera has a total effective resolution of 976 x 494 pixels which makes it a great fit for the new 960H widescreen resolution CCTV DVRs (16:9 aspect ratio). It also works great with all traditional resolution CCTV DVRs (4:3 aspect ratio). The fixed 3.6mm lens provides a 90 degree viewing angle which makes this camera perfect for ceiling mount installations in the corners of small to medium sized rooms.

This is an analog CCTV type camera that is compatible with any CCTV DVR with BNC video inputs, such as our iDVR recorders. The tri-axis swivel base of the camera makes it easy for security installers to adjust the viewing angle to a precise location. A DC power supply is included with this camera.

Surveillance Images

Indoor Surveillance (Normal Office Lighting)


The above surveillance snapshot was captured with the DPRO-92311 in normal lighting conditions in a room that is 21 feet long by 14 feet wide. The office has commercial florescent lighting.

Indoor Low Light Surveillance


This image was captured with all of the lights off in the office to create a low-light environment. There are 2 computer monitors on and the hallway door is open about half way to create some ambient light. The camera performs fairly well in low light, however, if you want great low light and zero light performance, we recommend that you consider our DPRO-L36W indoor dome with infrared LEDs.


Tri-Axis Swivel Mount Base


The tri-axis base lets installers adjust the angle of view of this camera very precisely. Installers can mount this camera to a wall or ceiling (vertical or horizontal mount).

Medium Sized Dome


This is a medium sized dome CCTV camera. The above dimensions are measures in millimeters (mm).

Easy Installation


The video output of this camera has a female BNC connector attached to it. This makes for a simple, plug and play installation using either pre-made Siamese BNC cameras or spools of RG59 coax cable cut to custom lengths with BNC male ends attached.

When to Use this Dome Security Camera

This Indoor dome security camera is the perfect fit for indoor surveillance installations in small to medium sized rooms.The 3.6mm lens provides a great overview type of view being that it has a 90 degree field of view. This camera will not provide sharpened focus on small objects at a long distance. The fixed lens is pre-focused so there is no setup of this camera beyond connecting it to power and the video to a DVR or monitor. The normal light performance of this camera is outstanding. The low light is performance is good. It is not recommended for very low light and zero light surveillance applications. For very low to no light, we recommend an infrared dome camera.
