The BPRO-OL952 bullet indoor / outdoor surveillance camera contains Sony 1/3" 960H HAD CCD II sensor. This security camera captures high-resolution analog CCTV video in color at a 700 TV lines of resolution. This CCTV bullet camera has a 3.6mm lens which gives users a wide angle of view (approximately 90 degrees). The lipstick style housing is IP67 weatherproof rated which means that you can use this camera for indoor and outoor installations.
Because of this camera's ultra small size and shape, it is sometimes referred to as a lipstick camera. This camera has an OSD (on-screen display) that can be accessed using the included joystick. The OSD allows users to configure advanced settings of the camera in order to achieve the finest possible image for the environment and light level it is being used in. The sens-up function of the on-screen display allows users to boost the sensitivity up to 256x, which allows this camera to support light levels down to 0.05 Lux. Some additional settings that can be adjusted using the camera's OSD are D-WDR (digital wide dynamic range), backlight compensation, digital noise reduction, day/night mode. Low Light Sample Picture
This surveillance photo was taken with the lights turned off in the office. The only light in the room is from the computer monitor that Mike is sitting in front of. There is very little light in this room. All of the camera's settings are set to factory default for this image.
Ultra Low Light Sample Picture
This sample picture was taken in an ultra low light environment in a 10x12 office. The lights are turned off in the office, the door is shut, the blinds shut, and the computer monitor turned off. In the picture, in looks like a good amount of light is coming in through the blinds, but in fact it is NOT. It looks that way because the camera sens-up function was turned up all the way to x256 to enhance the low light capability. In addition, the DNR (digital noise reduction) was turned up to make the image clearer in low light.
Ultra Small Size Bullet
The OL952 bullet CCTV camera is very small in size. It bullet body of the camera measures just 2.25 inches long and the diameter is 3/4 of an inch.
Advanced On Screen Display Controls
A big advantage that this bullet camera has over other CCTV cameras is the advanced on screen display that installers can use to setup the camera just right for the specific environment it is being setup in. Below is a picture that shows how the joystick / controller is connected inline with the camera cable. Installers use this to access the OSD menu.
