The AVB1 active balun system is a UTP video wiring solution for CCTV cameras that can achieve distances up to 5000 feet using CAT-5 cable. The AVB1 includes an active (powered) balun transmitter and active receiver. By using a powered video balun on both ends of a UTP / STP / CAT-5 cable run, distances of up to 4000 feet for color cameras and 5000 feet for black and white cameras can be achieved. CCTV Camera Pros includes two 12V DC power supplies with these kits.
