The AHD-VD104 is a 4 port HD CCTV video splitter and amplifier supports AHD, HD-CVI, and HD-TVI high definition CCTV video formats. The AHD-VD104 can be used to split one BNC video input to four BNC outputs or two BNC video inputs to two pairs of two BNC outputs. There is a selector on the front of the device to select the 1-4 or 2-2 mode. This is an active / powered device that also acts as an amplifier. Each BNC video output can be run up to 300 meters / 900 feet using RG59 coax cable. In an HD video surveillance application, AHD-VD104 can be used to share the video signal from an HD CCTV camera (AHD, HD-CVI, or HD-TVI) CCTV between four DVRs or monitors. In 2-2 mode, the AHD-VD104 splits the video signal from 2 cameras, that can each share the video signal with two DVRs or monitors each.

BNC Input / Ouput & Device Mode Selector
This view of the product shows the BNC video input and outputs. The ports labeled VIN1 and VIN2 are the two video inputs. The selector in the middle determines if you are using one or two video inputs.
1 to 4 Video Splitter
If you select 1-4 splitter mode, then your camera is connected to VIN1 and that video signal is split and amplified to all of the 4 BNC output ports labeled VOUT.
2 to 4 Video Splitter
If you select 2-2 splitter mode, you may connect two HD CCTV cameras to ports VIN1 and VIN2. Then the video from camera one is available on ports VOUT1-1 and VOUT1-2. The video from the camera connected to VIN2 is split and amplified to ports VOUT2-1 and VOUT2-2.
